Announcing Our Exciting Collaboration with Susan Khalje!

We are excited to announce a future collaboration with none other than couture fashion educator, Susan Khalje.

We will be launching an exciting partnership with Susan in the coming months. This course teaches you the intricacies of sewing your very own couture French jacket. Susan will also be contributing to our blog with a series of exciting articles giving expert advice on couture sewing techniques and fabric choice.

Susan Khalje has dedicated her life to teaching people the art of couture sewing and is one of the foremost educators of Haute Couture around the globe. She started her career over 35-years ago training at the New York couture salon Chez Cez et Bez before going on to be a couture designer on Seventh Avenue.

Susan then established her very own wedding dress and evening wear company called Susan Khalje Couture before setting up the The Couture Sewing School, whereby she imparts her expertise with sewing enthusiasts throughout the USA and the globe.

She recently launched the Susan Khalje Couture Sewing Club, which is a private online Facebook group where sewing enthusiasts pay a monthly membership to join. The Facebook group posts exclusive content and course material, and allows users to join a close-knit community of sewers. Susan takes an active part on the page so it’s a really unique way to get advice from a true expert on your projects. The Facebook group has been a resounding success since its inception and has brought together a group of really amazing, passionate sewers who help and motivate one another with their projects.
